Movial will demonstrate two of its new application products Connect PC Video Sharing and Connect Mobile Music Sharing at the Nokia Applications Summit 2005.
"With the addition of two multimedia applications for Mobile and PC to our Connect IMS product portfolio, Movial further strengthens its position as a leading IMS client provider across PC, Mobile, and Consumer Electronics devices", says Victor Donselaar, Unit Manager, Movial. "With our Connect product portfolio and these new additions, operators and device manufacturers are now able to launch even more compelling IMS multimedia services across platforms and capitalise on the increase in demand for Video and Music services".
Movial Connect PC Video Sharing enables users of Nokia Video Sharing-enabled handsets to share live videos while in a voice call. For operators this means that users of new IMS applications such as Video Sharing can reach all other users, regardless of their handset. This facilitates a higher penetration rate of IMS services, handset sales, and data subscriptions.
Movial Connect Music Sharing enables mobile subscribers to instantly share music with other subscribers without violating any DRM issues. It allows people to share their mobile music with other users, and communicate about the music in real-time. With Music Sharing, mobile music finally becomes a social event.
